About:
From the Weatheroak Hill Brewery website:
The Weatheroak Brewery was initially launched by David Smith to provide the Coach with its own beer in 1998. After the success of these beers, the micro-brewery outgrew the building at the Coach and in August 2008 they moved on to other premises to fulfil their ambitions.
Having gained a reputation as a brew-house pub, it was imperative to continue to brew on site so as not to disappoint. This prompted the set-up of Weatheroak Hill Brewery, and within 8 weeks we were up and running, with Mark Shepard as Head Brewer. Nobody could have predicted the success of the first brews of I.P.A. (3.8%) and W.H.B. (4.2%) and in January 2009 W.H.B won the Silver Medal at the CAMRA Redditch & Bromsgrove Winter Ale Festival. Following this came the Radford Ale (4.7%) and Shires Ale (4.7%). In addition to the Weatheroak Ales we serve a wide range of guest beers from other breweries, including Woods, Hook Norton, Hobsons, Malvern Hills Brewery, The Purity Brewery and a daily changing Guest Beer.
